Vagabond Snap

Sometimes I’m productive, and sometimes I just decide to dye my hair.

My head is a cranberry and my desk is a packing list. 3 days till my birthday and 2 weeks till Portland. I am….no words for the feels. My recharge has started.

Posting because this is not half bad for 2:30AM after 3+ hours of reading.

Usual awkward(/sleep deprived) face, new hair colour!

100 g. all-natural henna
1 cup already steeped english breakfast tea
1/2 tsp cloves
1/4 tsp nutmeg
7 drops tea tree oil
1 swish honey

Dye released (mixed up, covered and let alone) for 25 hours and worn on my head for 6 hours.

My hair is naturally a pumpkin auburn with a large amount of grey.

My roommates got me a fiddle for yule! (Also, badass wrist warmers were made by my knightling, onyourownsidethistime)

Some days are more intense than others.
Some days I need to travel through
five states,
drink(,)
four different sorts of tea,
try
not to spill any of it
on my mother’s
dress.
Some days I just need to get dressed
and throw out some fiction
cartoon
imitation
of a lumberjack.

There is something somewhat evil to me about working at 3 AM on a Saturday morning in a capacity that doesn’t include coffee.

I got a new haircut today, and will be colouring back to a lighter auburn later tonight/tomorrow. I’m posting this because I feel like I look good. Despite having been a model for years, that is hard for me to say. I rarely look at myself and say “I look how I feel”. Today, I do, and there’s something worth celebrating in that.
